Be there from the start,

From a dream in 2017, a side hustle in 2023 to the main support for me and my family in 2025, my music has grown year over year.  It has been a blessing to see not only my craft grow, but also the number of people who want to enjoy it and be a part of it.

Something's brewing...

This year, 2026, saw me taking major steps forward that I've waited a long time for: the beginnings of a tour route, festival slots, opening for national touring artists, my biggest headlining show yet and last but certainly not least: people actually caring about my work.

All of this has been encouraging and yet there's also been a frustration.  Income has grown alongside my budding career but it hasn't reached the level it needs to be to both support my family and invest back into my career regularly or aggressively.  While music is an art, a fact I aim to stay regularly grounded in, making a living off of that art is a business.  Just like any small business, there are numerous costs in getting the ball rolling and stepping into the next level.  I've been continuing to grab whatever bits of profit I've been able to in order to fund things like studio time, mixing fees, and most crucial on the business side: marketing.

Put simply, there is momentum accumulating in ticket sales, promoters and organizers stepping into my corner for shows and festivals, people being excited and becoming fans of my music and what I'm doing, but there simply isn't enough profit to spin all the plates that need to be spun.

So I'm reaching out to all those who've loved my music, who've said "you're going to make it one day, Jon", who've asked "what are you doing playing in a place like this!?" or "when are you recording this song?" and I'm asking for your support in one of two simple ways...

1

buy a shirt

Instead of the overdone fundraising platforms, the plan is simple: buy a shirt with the pay what you want feature.  You get a limited run t-shirt that will only be available to those who support this campaign and the profit gives my work the support it needs.

2

consider a match donation

A big way to move the needle is to pledge a match donation.  This is a "raise x amount and I'll match it with my own donation".  This chips away at the amount of t-shirt sales needed and helps in motivating others.  Match donations start at $100 and end with.. well whatever you feel led to give.

1+1= 4

what does this help with?

The support brought in through sales, donations, and matches will go to

- studio/mixing fees for several unreleased songs

- marketing for these songs as well as others waiting to be released

-marketing for concerts/tours

Until now, I've recorded at home or in quickly executed sessions with local engineers.  As I've grown, I've received the support and belief of a producer named Jake Rye who's worked with breakout Michigan acts as well as major signed artists.  It's time to step up the goodness of my recorded music by working with someone who can help me craft exactly what I'm looking for and can offer guidance and insight in the process.  Marketing is the name of the game with music.  A song can be good, but if no one knows it's there, it won't go anywhere.  I've had good traction with Meta Ads promoting my music, but consistent releases and marketing budget have been a major snag due to funds.  This support allows me to batch up my best sounding music yet, some of my best compositions as well, and put the fuel behind it that it needs to gain an audience track by track, snow balling over the course of the releases, while at the same time using similar marketing methods to build up ticket sales across my initial tour route.  Things have already been moving, help me launch it.
